Ewa Kern-Jedrychowska was born and raised in Warsaw, Poland. In 2001 she moved to the U.S. and currently lives in Queens, NY. She works for Nowy Dziennik/Polish Daily News, where she covers stories about Polish immigrants. She is also a freelancer for Feet in 2 Worlds, The New York Times and various shows on public radio, reporting on New York’s ethnic communities.
