About Albena Shkodrova

Albena Shkodrova is a journalist and travel writer. She has worked for Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, for the Institute for War and Peace Reporting in London and for the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network, BIRN. She wrote the book "Hidden Treasures of Bulgaria" and currently runs BalkanTravellers.com and the Bulgarian gourmet magazine "Bacchus." She enjoys life shuttling between Sofia, where she works, and Brussels, where she lives.
